The Eat, Drink
& Be Mindful Workshop is designed to present simple, straightforward
techniques for anyone struggling with chronic weight, body image
or self esteem, or psychological distress due to mindless over-under-or
chaotic eating. The workshop is also intended to help people avoid
more serious problematic eating issues.
Essentially,
Eat, Drink & Be Mindful Workshop is about learning to develop
a nonjudgmental awareness and acceptance of your self, weight and
eating habits. Through this unique awareness of yourself, change
in your body and mind naturally happens. The foundation of this
approach rests of Buddhist techniques of controlling your mind combined
with traditional psychological principles and exercises to promote
mindfulness. The workshop, among many other things, helps you to
be more aware of every bite, be less ruled by your inner food critic,
and address problematic eating to have a healthier, happier life.
